He worked for the prestigious Morgan Omonitan and Abe consulting engineers a British founded company in Nigeria and was involved on some high profile projects in Africa prior to his relocating to Ireland, to join the Structural Design team of Alan Traynor Consulting Engineers Belturbet, Co.Cavan with many high profile projects in Cavan and midland areas.

John later joined International Consulting Group of Companies called Moylan Consulting in Dublin part of Waterman Group in UK, gaining invaluable experience over the years working on a broad range of projects these include Structural Engineering projects such as Residential, Commercial Developments, Refurbishment projects, Public Buildings, Mixed use Buildings, Schools, Leisure Facilities, apartments, Offices and Industrial Developments.
